All EHE faculty and staff may request content writing services for EHE websites.


Special Considerations

Writing for the web needs a different approach than writing academic or policy papers. Not only do you have to consider the amount of time people are spending on a site but you also have to consider how they are going to find your content and the size of the screen they’re using.

Right now, the average person spends less than 80 seconds on any given page of the EHE website. And the number of people accessing information about the college through a mobile device is increasing. As OIT developers continue to make improvements to the EHE website and its users’ experiences, on both desktop and mobile platforms, the expectation is mobile use will continue to trend upward.

This is why structured web content is so important. When it is optimally displayed, it is easily found and easily consumed.
