This award provides seed money to independent junior faculty members and their equivalent for the initiation of cancer research projects so they can obtain preliminary results that will enable them to compete successfully for national research grants.

To support projects related to the study of national security in a global context. Projects should address one or more of the Center's three core themes of the use of force and diplomacy, the ideas, identities and decisional process that affect international security, and the institutional processes that manage violent conflict.

Office of International Affairs Grants and Scholarships

Grants will be given for projects that explore the languages, cultures, arts, politics, economy or socio-demographic aspects of a foreign region. Proposals addressing global issues are also eligible if these issues are explored in a regional context.
