ORIC Affiliates Mixer
Faculty Club, North Dining Rooms A-D, 2nd Floor
The College of Education and Human Ecology’s newly reorganized Office of Research, Innovation, and Collaboration (ORIC), under the leadership of our Associate Dean for Research Natasha Slesnick, PhD, is pleased to announce a new ORIC Affiliates Program. Building on the former Research Methodology Center (RMC) Affiliates Program, ORIC will be expanding the program with the goal of deepening our engagement with scholars in EHE and across Ohio State. While the program will still serve as catalyst for interactions with others who are interested in research methodology, the new program will expand this focus to include scholars with a particular affinity for working on culturally sustainable research.
As a community, our ORIC Affiliates will be invited twice yearly to come together for networking, brainstorming and interdisciplinary discussion. Through these gatherings we will facilitate the formation of working groups with interest in innovative and collaborative approaches to research. ORIC Affiliates will have priority access to professional development opportunities within the college and will be eligible to apply for targeted professional development funding geared to support innovation in research and methods. Affiliate membership will be open to faculty, post-doctoral scholars, staff and researchers across campus.
Please join us for a mixer to celebrate the new ORIC Affiliates Program. Refreshments will be served.
