The Power of Hope and Belonging in Buffering Against ACEs
Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) are potentially traumatic events that occur in childhood and have long-term impacts on a variety of our future health and educational outcomes. Most adults have experienced at least one ACE and many struggle with the effects into adulthood. Join the Crane Center for a free, one-hour research forum on Wednesday, Feb. 5 as Dr. Brett Zyromski discusses cultivating protective factors like hope and belonging to support children who have experienced ACEs, while at the same time deconstructing the systems that create the need for such interventions.
