Human resource generalist for Human Sciences

EHE HR is excited to announce that Teri Parsell has joined the department as a human resource generalist with the Department of Human Sciences.  Teri received her B.S. from Ohio Dominican University where she majored in business administration and minored in communications.  She has worked within Ohio State for about nine years now and is coming to us from the College of Nursing and the Office of Business and Finance where she performed a wide range of HR responsibilities and duties. As an HR Generalist, Teri will act as a business partner and strategist, which includes providing oversight and maintenance of established HR processes, aiding in the recruitment and retention of new employees, collaborating with department leaders to identify critical skills needed and providing solutions to those skill gaps, facilitating performance management systems and managing employee relations issues. 

In her free time, Teri is a volleyball coach and has completed five marathons! We hope that you will join us in giving her a warm welcome to the College of Education and Human Ecology and we look forward to her years of experience contributing to our effort to support the college’s mission.
