Academic Technology workshop: Improving student motivation through feedback

The feedback we offer students can discourage them or it can foster agency. But what does successful feedback look like? Our session will focus on three strategies to improve student motivation through feedback: co-creating a rubric; wording written feedback to promote a growth mindset; and providing audio feedback in SpeedGrader. Participants will engage in active learning and leave the session with actionable ideas.
