The most wonderful time of the year can also be one of the most stressful times. The college wants to remind you to take a break when you feel the need. Focus some energy on yourself and your wellness with these simple ideas. 

Week 1: Get moving!

  • Take a 10-minute break from your day to join the Buckeye Wellness office for Movement and Mindfulness Monday Series.
  • Get moving from the comfort of your home with this virtual Buckeye Wellness Zumba Fitness Class.
  • Walking meetings – whether you’re in the office or at home via zoom/teams, take your meeting on a walk while you talk.
  • Virgin Pulse is a great tool to utilize for all your wellness needs. Log on to Virgin Pulse and check out their ‘Get active’ journeys to jump start your movement motivation.


Week 2: Manage your stress

 

Week 3: Nutrition

  • Think about replacing your regular snack with a healthy alternative.
  • Grab a co-worker and sign up for group health coaching or personal health coaching through Your Plan for Health.

Week 4: Financial fitness

  • The holidays are here and finances can be tight. Create a Christmas budget with this simple planner to keep financial stress at bay.

  • Don’t know where to start when it come to your finances? Visit the Financial Fitness Center to learn how to make the most of your money.
