Message from the dean on COVID-19

Wednesday, March 11, 2020

EHE faculty and staff,

We join with an increasing number of universities uniting to slow the spread of COVID-19. Our proactive efforts and support of each other affirms our commitment to the health and vitality of our students, staff, faculty and the communities we serve.

That being said, campus is not closed. We are moving to only virtual instruction until March 30. All other operations are to continue unless communicated otherwise.

The Faculty and Staff Portal will be a key location for college-level updates. Keep in mind that this situation is fluid and updates can happen at any time.

Remember, the best way to prevent the spread of any type of infection is to practice routine hygiene etiquette such as covering your mouth and nose when you sneeze or cough, and wash your hands with soap and water or use alcohol hand rub regularly, especially after coughing or sneezing.

Thank you for your efforts to keep our campus healthy.

Sincerely,

Don Pope-Davis
