Volunteer to be a capstone research project judge
Metro Early College High School is looking for volunteer judges for their capstone projects from its Learning Center Pathways. Metro's four Pathways include Bodies (biomedical), Design (engineering), Growth (agriculture and entrepreneurship) and Energy (sustainable energy and law), and these Pathways act as a bridge between college and high school coursework. As a part of these Pathways, students work on a capstone research project during their spring semester. Since Metro is still operating in a hybrid model, judging will be held virtually with two primary judging opportunities.
First, students will pre-record a 10-15 minute video. Judges will fill out a google form and evaluate them. This judging will take place from May 10-15. Estimated 15-20 minutes per student.
The second is a live, remote question and answer session with each student. These will be in the afternoon/evening from May 17-21. Sessions will last no more than 10 minutes per student, with four or five in a single block.
