Windows 7 OS Upgrade to Windows 10

Friday, December 06, 2019

As you have no doubt read in previous EHE Insiders, Microsoft will no longer support Windows 7 Jan. 14, 2020. This means that a computer running the Windows 7 operating system in EHE will no longer be allowed access to EHE resources starting on that date.

To do our best to ensure your Windows 7 computer will continue to work after Jan. 14, EHE IT is pushing the Windows 10 OS to Windows 7 computers through the month of December and early January.

You will notice a notification on your screen (dates may vary) during this time.

When convenient, update your computer’s OS.  If you do not pick a time yourself, the computer will update automatically on the date shown. It will take some time, so we recommend not waiting and starting the process yourself as you leave for the day.

You can go to EHE Apps (on the desktop) and start the process manually as well.
